The 2-9 New York Jets are rebuilding and haven't been particularly competitive throughout 2025.
With it being the Thanksgiving holiday around the nation, we're deciding to focus on positivity. Despite their struggles, Jets fans still have plenty to be thankful for as the franchise prepares for a bright future.

Breece Hall, RB
Breece Hall has been the Jets' most productive player on offense throughout 2025. General manager Darren Mougey received offers to trade Hall during the NFL trade deadline, but Mougey rightfully declined those opportunities. The former Iowa State standout is on an expiring contract, but the Jets will likely retain him, either through a multi-year extension, or the franchise tag.
Offensive line prospects
While the Jets are still searching for a quarterback solution of the future, that inevitable young quarterback will eventually join a roster that has ascending offensive linemen. Tackles Olu Fashanu and Armand Membou, and interior blocker Joe Tippmann, are legitimate building blocks. The Jets have been occasionally dominant up front this season.

The Jets don't have many building blocks on defense after trading Quinnen Williams and Sauce Gardner at the deadline. Nickel cornerback Jarvis Brownlee is among the long-term solutions. Acquired from the Tennessee Titans for little in return, Brownlee has three years remaining on an affordable rookie contract, and has been a starting-caliber cornerback in Aaron Glenn's defense.
