The 2025 Eagles vs. Bears game will forver be remembered as 'Black Friday'. Let's hope that happens for a good reason.

Eagles vs. Bears: Bold predictions for Black Friday in Week 13Story byGeoffrey A Knox, Eagles WireFri, November 28, 2025 at 11:39 AM UTC·3 min read

Teams spend all week preparing to play a game that lasts for about three hours. The benefits of hours of film study and practice often show up in singular moments. Philadelphia Eagles games are remembered for distinct plays, disappointments, and, of course, the contest's results.

Uniquely memorable games are remembered by a name or a phrase. Evil thoughts flutter the mind instantly when one says 'Thanksgiving Day Massacre'. Better thoughts come when one says 'Monday Night Massacre', 'House of Pain Game', or 'Body Bag Game'.

Two Eagles playoff games vs. the Chicago Bears are a part of the franchise's lore forever. One was a win, the other a loss. We remember Donovan McNabb's dominant Wild Card Game performance, but we'll never forget 'The Fog Bowl' or the 'Double-Doink Game'.

Philadelphia lost the former. They won the latter. They're favored to win their first-ever game on Black Friday, and here's what's funny. Regardless of the game's result, win or lose, this game will probably forever be remembered as precisely that, 'Black Friday'.

Jalen Hurts throws a TD pass to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

If our math is correct, we count at least three misses thrown by Jalen Hurts in DeVonta Smith's direction that should have been TD tosses. They figure that out in this one, and Philadelphia's new strategy, spamming the ball to A.J. Brown, continues.

This time, the Birds don't let their foot off the gas. Hurts connects with both of his dynamic receivers, and both Smith and Brown walk out of Week 13 having caught a TD pass apiece.

Saquon Barkley rushes for fewer than 50 yards but scores a rushing TD.

We've seen nothing from Saquon Barkley or the Eagles' O-line that makes us believe these running game issues are being fixed this season. He isn't going to snap out of what we saw from him in Arlington just a few days ago.

This time, however, Tank Bigsby will get a few more snaps, and that will help the running game. As for Barkley, he racks up 50 yards or fewer, but he reaches the end zone.

Caleb Williams doesn't turn the ball over, but he is sacked four times.

Caleb Williams rarely throws interceptions. He doesn't. He has only thrown four this season. He hasn't thrown more than one in any game and hasn't thrown one since Week 8.

Expect him to continue taking care of the football, but expect an improving Eagles pass rush to get home. Expect four sacks in this one and relatively mistake-free football from the Bears in terms of protecting the ball.

The Eagles commit fewer than five penalties, and Jake Elliott hits a 60-yard field goal.

We know the Eagles go through offensive droughts sometimes, and this team goes through one after only three plays. The special teams get a workout here, specifically Jake Elliott and Braden Mann.

Elliott will have to bail the Eagles out at some point with a long kick, and he'll do so successfully. Also, after a festival of flags this past Sunday, the game is more disciplined this time around.

The Eagles top 30 points and win by ten.

We trust the Eagles' defense. We don't trust the Eagles' offense. That's what this game comes down to, but this feels like Philadelphia's game to win.

The Bears have arrived. They're for real, but the Birds are still the better team for now (we hope). The Eagles win and cover. Bet the over as 30 points here should be enough to secure a victory.
