You all know the story well. The Baltimore Ravens drafted Lamar Jackson with the 32nd selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. A lesser-mentioned part of that story was that the organization landed one of the best tight ends in franchise history 54 spots later.
Mark Andrews and Jackson built a bond as rookies in the same Ravens draft class. They've connected many times over the years. One of their most recent puts Mark Andrews in rare air. He sits atop Baltimore's record book.

It only took 114 regular-season games for Mark Andrews to pass Derrick Mason as the Ravens' all-time receiving yards leader. One week later, in his 116th, he passed Mason again by hauling in catch number 472.
Mark Andrews is now Baltimore's all-time leader in receptions. His head coach, John Harbaugh, recently complimented him on his ability to overcome adversity. Now, he can compliment him for another achievement, immortality. Andrews has four catches for 47 yards on six targets in a game. Baltimore trails 29-14 late in the fourth quarter.
The previous record-holder, Mason, ended his Ravens run with 471 receptions and 5,777 yards receiving. Congratulations to the legend on this great honor.
