It seems like the end of an era for Star Wars. The past few years have been a prolific period for Star Wars comics, but early solicitations from Marvel for the start of 2026 indicate its Star Wars output is being scaled back considerably. This suggests that the books have become less profitable, or perhaps that something big is brewing.

Currently, Marvel only has two Star Wars books slated for February. The first is Star Wars #10, continuing the flagship title, which is currently in the dawn of the post-Return of the Jedi era.

The other is Jar Jar #1, which seeks to redeem the much-maligned Prequel character by teaming him with the more well-received Jedi Kelleran Beq.
