Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula is closer to a potential return just four weeks after suffering a dislocated left ankle. The No. 22 Tigers face a Saturday road matchup at No. 8 Oklahoma.

According to a report by ESPN, he has been medically cleared, but a final decision will come from the coaching staff after Missouri’s “Fast Friday” practice. Pribula will also have input based on how the ankle responds.
The Penn State transfer was off to a strong start before the injury at Vanderbilt, completing nearly 70% of his passes and emerging as an effective dual-threat option. He has thrown 11 touchdowns with seven interceptions and added five rushing scores.
Matt Zollers has started three games with mixed results. The true freshman has shown potential, but has also struggled.
Pribula’s availability would provide a significant boost for Missouri as it enters one of its toughest road tests of the season. His workout before last week’s game signaled progress, and Friday’s practice will determine whether his comeback arrives in Norman.
