As the 2025 high school football season nears an end, teams from around the country aim for the highest goal of raising a state championship trophy above their heads.
Where those teams get the chance to play for a state championship, though, varies by state.

However, nine states allow their high school athletes to finish their high school careers on a professional field that many have dreamed of playing on since they were little.
