Almost nothing went right for the Minnesota Vikings in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, leaving little room for positivity. However, Will Reichard's performance helped put him in the record books.
Reichard kicked from 52 and 59 yards in the first half, keeping the Vikings in the game at halftime, only down 10-6. The 59-yarder made him the first kicker in NFL history to make four field goals of 59-plus yards in the same season.

He missed six field goals in 2024, but only after he suffered a quad injury in November. One miss in 2025 was believed by some, including Reichard, to have been affected by a camera wire.
Reichard has made 19 of 21 field goal attempts this season, with a long of 62 yards. He has made all 19 extra point attempts this season and has yet to miss any point-after attempt in his career.
