Michigan State hockey just got done with one of the worst weekends the program has had in a long time. The Spartans got swept by Wisconsin, dropping both games 5-4 and 2-1 (OT).
Now, the No. 1 overall ranking is no longer, and the Spartans have officially fallen from their top spot in the polls. According to USCHO, and USA Hockey, the Spartans will now check in at No. 3 in the polls, although they did receive five first place votes.

Michigan State will be back in action on Wednesday, when they face off against Colgate.
