In a significant blow to Manchester City's immediate plans, manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that midfield linchpin Rodri will not be fit for the crucial Champions League encounter against Bayer Leverkusen. While the 29-year-old Spaniard is on the path to recovery, his return to the pitch remains on hold as he works to regain full match fitness.
