The Tennessee Titans continue to show growth under interim head coach Mike McCoy, and while their efforts continue to come up short, the improvements are noticeable. That was the case in a 30-24 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.

Rookie Cam Ward again led a second-half comeback that fell short in one of his best games of the season, and his young receivers stepped up and made plays. Unfortunately, he received no support from the running game and, again, there were too many penalties, which contributed to the second-half deficit.

Unlike in past weeks, the Titans' defense was invisible for most of the contest and didn’t come to life until the fourth quarter. Tennessee had no answer for Seattle’s explosive receiving corps, specifically Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who torched the Titans all afternoon. Much of that can be attributed to a complete lack of pressure on Sam Darnold, who had clean pockets all game.

As is the case every week, there were both good and bad performances within the disappointing loss. Here's a look at the players who are rising or falling in the Week 12 stock report.

Stock up: QB Cam Ward

Ward played one of his best games as a rookie and continues to grow against some of the best NFL defenses. Ward went 28-of-42 for 256 yards and one touchdown, and led the Titans' ground game with 37 yards on six carries with another score. This is the second consecutive week that Ward outgained the combined production of Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.

Stock down: DT Jeffery Simmons

Did Simmons even play on Sunday? That is a question many Titans fans are probably asking after this performance against the Seahawks. Simmons was completely invisible, and his lack of production was one of the main reasons why Sam Darnold had a clean pocket all afternoon. A look at the stat sheet shows he played and recorded two tackles (one solo), but the game was nowhere near up to his standards.

Stock up: WR Xavier Restrepo

Restrepo finally got his shot against the Seahawks; the undrafted rookie free agent made some plays with two receptions for 26 yards. While those numbers aren’t mind-blowing, he did that with limited snaps and outperformed veterans Mason Kinsey and Van Jefferson. Restrepo may lack measurables, but he finds a way to get open, and there is a connection with Ward. If nothing else, he earned another shot on the active roster.

Stock down: WR Mason Kinsey

Tennessee entered the game with some questions in their receiving corps, playing without both Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor, and again Kinsey proved he wasn’t the answer. Kinsey was blanked on the stat sheet as a receiver and was relegated to mostly special teams snaps in the contest.

Stock up: TE Gunnar Helm

Helm came to life as a receiver and was Ward’s safety blanket throughout the contest. Helm pulled in six balls for 51 yards and was a consistent outlet target that helped the Titans' offense stay on schedule. This was Helm’s most productive game of the season in all categories of receptions, targets, and yardage, and he is another rookie who’s making an impact.

Stock down: WR Van Jefferson

With Elic Ayomanor out with a hamstring injury, Tennessee needed some players to step up on the outside to help Cam Ward and the offense, and Jefferson was underwhelming. While the veteran led all Titans’ receivers in playing time, he made almost no impact in the contest, with one catch for 11 yards, and was outproduced by former practice squad receivers James Proche and Xavier Restrepo.

Stock up: S Kevin Winston Jr.

Since being inserted into the starting lineup, Winston has proven to be one of the more dynamic players in the Titans’ secondary. Now that he is healthy, the rookie safety is showing why he was one of the top safeties in the 2025 class, even after missing most of his final college season with an ACL injury. Winston brings athleticism and physicality to the defense, and led the Titans in tackles against the Seahawks.

Stock down: Titans’ cornerbacks

The Titans again proved they cannot match up with top-tier wide receivers and were tormented by Jaxson Smith-Njigba all afternoon. Darrell Baker Jr. was in and out of the contest after injuring his ribs, and the combination of Jalyn Armour-Davis and Samuel Womack struggled in the matchup.
