West Ham United striker Niclas Fullkrug clearly wants out of the East London club, but a move to Italy is complicated.
West Ham signed the 32-year-old, thinking they had gotten a battle-tested, Champions League-proven warrior, but he has been a dud.

The German international (24 caps) has managed only three goals in 27 outings for West Ham and is yet to open his account this season.
His agent is seeking out an escape route and offering him to Italian clubs like AC Milan, according to Gianluca DiMarzio (via Milan News). They are “ready to seize the opportunity.”
However, “he has a very high salary at West Ham,” which makes any deal difficult for the cash-strapped Rossoneri. He is reportedly on £112,500 per week.
His salary could scupper any chance of West Ham shifting him off the books in January.

His wages, output, and overall fit haven’t justified keeping him around, and the longer the club waits, the harder it becomes to find a suitable exit.
Crucially, the striker position is crying out for a young, lethal, hungry forward who can grow with the squad and offer a cutting edge that Fullkrug has never provided.
Moving him on would free up both budget and squad space, allowing West Ham to reset and bring in the kind of attacking profile they desperately need.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementEven though the market is not exactly overflowing with quality strikers trying to change clubs mid-season, there are still a few options to choose from.
Joshua Zirkzee (Manchester United), Ivan Toney (Al Ahli), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal), Romeo Vermant (Club Brugge), and Lucas Stassin (AS Saint-Etienne) are among the names linked.
