The 23-year-old scored 132 off 118 balls against Ireland in his first-class debut appearance in 2023.
Although he played two County Championship games last summer, he was mainly used in white-ball cricket, playing nine games in all in the One-Day Cup and T20 Blast competitions.
"I am looking forward to hopefully contributing to future team successes and repaying the faith that the club and coaches have shown in me," he said.
