When do College Football Playoff rankings come out after Week 13?

Following a rare week without major upsets during the 2025 college football season, the College Football Playoff rankings should not include major changes.

The fourth rankings from the CFP committee are set to be released on Tuesday, Nov. 25, and with a slower week with more "cupcake games," the rankings should not see an overadjustment this week.

No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana and No. 3 Texas A&M all remain unbeaten and should be the top three teams. One change could be Oregon jumping into the top five, where the Ducks are ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll following their big win over former Pac-12 foe Southern California.

Even entering the final week of the regular season, the Atlantic Coast Conference does not have a clear favorite. Pittsburgh knocked off then-No. 12 Georgia Tech on the road to deny the Yellow Jackets a chance to clinch a spot in the conference championship game.

The question remains who will be the Group of Five program conference winner to advance to the playoff. No. 21 James Madison defeated Washington State 24-20 to remain alive, while No. 22 North Texas might be the favorite in the American.

The committee has plenty of questions to answer as we head into the final week of the regular season. Here's what you need to know about the CFP rankings release time and schedule:

When do new CFP rankings come out?

• Date: Tuesday, Nov. 25

• Time: 7 p.m. ET

The fourth set of CFP rankings is scheduled to be released at its usual 7 p.m. ET time on ESPN. Last week's rankings were released at 8:30 p.m., between two Champions Classic games

When is the CFP rankings released?

The Nov. 25 rankings are the fourth iteration of the CFP top 25 rankings from the selection committee. There will be one more set of Tuesday rankings unveiled through conference championship week. The final rankings will come out on Sunday, Dec. 7, which will determine the 12-team field.
