Pennsylvania boasts a seemingly endless line of quality wrestlers.
The Keystone State’s affection for wrestling is no secret. PA proved it again this offseason when its representatives produced more team points than any other state at top national tournaments such as the Super 32 Challenge in Greensboro, North Carolina and junior nationals in Fargo, North Dakota.

The wrestlers below separated themselves from the pack. Most return as District 10 medalists.
A new crop of freshmen, as they always do in PA, will interrupt the success of some. But one truth remains for both new and returning varsity wrestlers: They’ll need to prove it.
Below are, in alphabetical order, 80 District 10 high school boys' wrestlers to watch in 2025-26. Each is listed with their grade, school, and weight class at which they most recently wrestled.

Lamech Albers, junior, Corry, 160 pounds: Placed third in Section 1 and fifth in District 10 amidst 40-13 sophomore season. Career record 65-31.
Omar Arrington, jr., Cathedral Prep, 215: Third at sections and fourth at districts during 25-15 sophomore campaign. Career record 36-23.
Brody Bishop, senior, Hickory, 133: Made third PIAA appearance in 43-12 junior season which included a Section 2 title, third-place finish at districts and fourth-place finish at regionals. Two-time D-10 champ with career record of 99-36.
Kamdyn Borrero, sophomore, Cathedral Prep, 127: One of several wrestlers who made this weight the state’s deepest, Borrero finished 47-6 as a freshman, including a Section 1 title. Placed third at both districts and regionals.

Carson Braswell, jr., Corry, 133: Runner-up at sections and fifth at districts during 27-13 sophomore season. Career record 52-23.
Rever Caudill, jr., Eisenhower, 114: Section 1 runner-up placed fourth at districts and sixth at regionals during 31-13 sophomore year, moving career record to 49-29.
Matt Caro, sr., General McLane, 189: Fourth place at both sections and districts while finishing 29-18 as a junior. Career record 41-30.

Hunter Cox, jr., Greenville, 172: Third at sections, sixth at districts and fifth at regionals during 35-14 sophomore season. Career record 77-23.
Gabe Dorman, jr., Cathedral Prep, 145: Section 1 runner-up last year before sixth-place finish at districts and fifth at regionals, carrying a 39-9 season record. Career record 70-19.
Derek Dube, sr., General McLane, 172: Placed third at sections and fourth at districts during 34-16 junior campaign. Career record 66-43.

Dan Duran, jr., Fort LeBoeuf, 215: Fourth at sections and fifth at districts during 24-17 sophomore campaign.
Drew Dygert, sr., Conneaut, 285: Just missed first PIAA berth with fifth-place regional finish after a fifth in Section 2 and seventh in D-10. Finished 23-9 last year and owns career record of 73-43.
Davion Edmond, so., Cathedral Prep, 121: Earned PIAA berth as a freshman amidst 39-12 campaign which included a runner-up at sectionals, fourth at districts and third at regionals.
Carter Friday, so., Fort LeBoeuf, 107: Fifth in Section 1 and sixth in D-10 as a freshman, finishing 24-18.

Rudy Gentile, sr., Greenville, 160: Junior season ended with first PIAA trip for Section 2 runner-up who placed third at districts and fourth at regionals. Career record 96-39, including 34-10 last year.

Tanner Hamilton, jr., Grove City, 133: Booked repeat PIAA trip during 36-14 sophomore season which saw him place fourth at districts and third at regionals. Two-time Section 2 runner-up with career record of 70-27.
Landon Harnett, sr., General McLane, 152: Earned his way onto D-10 podium with 8th-place finish despite 11-20 record. Also placed sixth at sections.

Sam Harrington, so., Cathedral Prep, 172: Finished 33-10 as a freshman, earning PIAA appearance after placing second in Section 1, third in D-10 and fourth in the Northwest region.
Hudson Hohman, sr., Grove City, 145: PIAA runner-up who finished 47-3 with titles at Section 2, District 10 and the Northwest regional. Three-time regional champion and Bucknell University commit with career record of 121-23.
Isaac Huya, jr., Saegertown, 114: Injury wiped out the middle part of Huya’s sophomore year, but he still finished 9-8, placing seventh at sectionals and sixth at districts. Former Section 2 runner-up owns 41-18 career record.

Emery Johnson, jr., Reynolds, 189: Section 2 and D-10 champion as a sophomore, placing third at regionals to earn first PIAA trip. Career record 52-30.
Chase Karenbauer, so., Grove City, 107: Suffered only loss of 48-1 freshman campaign in PIAA semifinals. Before that, earned an individual championship at Canon-McMillan’s prestigious Powerade tournament. Section 2, D-10 and Northwest regional champion who also boasts two age group gold medals from the Pan-American Games.
Clay Kimmy, sr., General McLane, 145: PIAA 8th-place finisher after winning Section 1 and placing third at both districts and regionals. Career record of 110-51, including 45-12 as a junior.
