Here are the nominees:
Taylor Frey, Sacred Heart
The junior outside hitter posted 452 kills, 224 digs and 63 aces on her way to first-team All-State honors. She has committed to Xavier.
Ella Grivna, Ballard
The senior middle blocker posted 315 kills, 101 blocks and 54 aces on her way to first-team All-State honors. Also named Seventh Region Player of the Year, Ella Grivna signed with South Carolina.

The senior libero was named Kentucky’s Defensive Player of the Year after posting 471 digs and 53 aces for the state champions. The first-team All-State pick signed with Auburn.
Vita Sensenbrenner, North Oldham
The senior outside hitter tallied 345 kills, 262 digs and 76 blocks on her way to second-team All-State honors. She has signed with Southern Indiana.
Mady Yaden, Mercy
The senior outside hitter recorded 398 kills, 186 digs and 74 blocks and earned first-team All-State recognition. Also named Sixth Region Player of the Year, Mady Yaden has signed with Bellarmine.
