Here is a fact-based summary of the story contents:
Try something different:
Show me the facts
Explain it like I’m 5
Give me a lighthearted recap
The mutants of the X-Men universe are among among the most powerful in Marvel history, with the greatest achieving impossible strength, mind-bending telepathy, or the truly world-threatening gifts of those classified as Omega-level mutants. But who stands above the rest?
There can be only one true winner in the X-Men power rankings, and with that in mind, we’re counting down Marvel's most powerful mutants of all time. Taking everything into account from the history of the comics, looking at a character’s skills and sheer level of power, asnd ignoring whether they are heroes or villains (or those who care little for such labels) these are the most powerful Marvel mutants.
50 Exodus / Bennet du Paris
Telekinesis
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
X-Factor #92
Scott Lobdell and Joe Quesada
Omega-Level Telekinesis and Telepathy
A twelfth-century Crusader originating from France, the elegant Exodus is one of the most powerful mutants on the face of the planet. Transformed by Apocalypse after his powers first manifested, Bennet spent centuries in suspended animation, but the years did nothing to dampen his power.
An Omega-level telekinetic, Exodus’ psionic control is powerful enough to move continents and precise enough that it can be measured on a subatomic level. Combined with abilities like telepathy, teleportation, and even a considerable healing factor, Exodus is one of mutantkind’s most overpowered, and often overlooked, heavy hitters.
49 Monarch / Jamie Braddock Jr.
Reality Warping
x-men's jamie braddock aka monarch twists reality around him
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
Captain Britain #9
Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe
Reality Warping Via Quantum Manipulation
There aren’t many mutants more powerful or more maniacal than Jamie Braddock Jr. The older brother of Betsy and Brian Braddock, the mutant Monarch is an Omega-level quantum manipulator, able to literally reshape reality.
Visualizing the world through invisible strings, Braddock can use his reality warping abilities to change multiple timelines at will. With his power, the mutant Monarch could become a universal threat if he felt so inclined. But for now, he’s perfectly happy being the black sheep of the Braddock Family.
48 Sunfire / Shiro Yoshida
Solar Radiation Manipulation
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
X-Men #64
Roy Thomas and Don Heck
Solar Radiation Manipulation and Flight
Shiro Yoshida is inarguably one of the most powerful mutants to join the X-Men during their Giant-Size relaunc,h with a proud and hot-headed nature that reflects his natural abilities. Sunfire is an Alpha-level mutant whose abilities manifest themselves as “solar fire” with precision control that outclasses other flame-based heroes like the Human Torch.
Having served honorably alongside the X-Men, the Uncanny Avengers, and even Big Hero 6, Shiro has never managed to stay with a team for too long thanks to his haughty nature. But Sunfire’s incredible firepower should never be underestimated.
47 Polaris / Lorna Dane
Magnetic Control
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
X-Men #49
Arnold Drake and Don Heck
Magnetism Manipulation
One of the X-Men’s original nepo babies, Lorna Dane is an Alpha-level mutant whose mastery over the magnetic forces of the Earth is second only to Magneto himself. But Polaris is far more than her father’s daughter, with a level of precision to reconstruct common silverware into a metallic costume of her own.
Able to tap into and manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum, Lorna’s impressive power levels were finally on display during the X-Men’s Krakoan Era, proving once and for all that Polaris is a true Master of Magnetism solely on her own merit.
46 Chamber / Jonothon 'Jono' Starsmore
Biokinetic Energy Blasts
Chamber is an incredibly powerful mutant whose body houses a star-like ball of energy, psionic in nature, and allows Jono to blast kinetic force in any direction, as well as creating 'homing missile' projectiles that track their targets. The emergence of Jono's powers destroyed his chest and lower draw, but also granted him the ability to live without food or water.
Chamber's mutant abilities were restored by Apocalypse, after which it was speculated that he had Omega-level potential. While he has yet to live up to that label, he's still a powerhouse whose energy blasts are comparable to those of Havok and Cyclops.

Powers
Generation X #1
Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo

45 Sobunar of the Depths
Oceanic Blood
Sobunar standing next to other Morlocks.
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
Planet-Size X-Men #1
Gerry Dugan and Pepe Larraz
Oceanic Blood
Before joining the Morlocks, Sobunar was one of the original members of the Great Ring of Arakko, and a critical power in the project to terraform Mars for Arakko’s resettlement. Sobunar’s blood contains the active potential of an entirely independent and self-sustaining marine ecosystem. As Sobunar bleeds, the oceans of Arakko grow.
Sobunar also possesses omnipresent awareness throughout the water made from his blood, and the entirety of Arakko’s oceans. However, it’s unclear how fast Sobunar can safely use his powers to create more oceanic waters.
44 Tempus / Eva Bell
Time Control
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
All-New X-Men #1
Brian Michael Bendis, Stuart Immonen
Chronal Manipulation and Time Travel
Part of The Five and one of the keys to the Krakoan Resurrection process, Eva Bell is a time manipulator of near-Omega-level potential. Able to slow or speed up time within any of her localized “time-bubbles,” Tempus can even use her power to travel through time itself – though often with unintended consequences.
Over the years, Eva’s control has grown even more precise since her debut following Avengers Vs. X-Men, making her one of Marvel’s most efficient chronal manipulators and a major powerhouse. With her undefinable potential, it’s only a matter of time before Tempus finally joins the X-Men’s big leagues.
43 Bishop / Lucas Bishop
Energy Powers
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
The Uncanny X-Men #282 (1991)
Whilce Portacio and John Byrne
Energy Absorption and Redirection
Having grown up in the dystopian future from the Days of Future Past story, Bishop is a true survivor. He has quite a few mutant powers, such as enhanced physical strength and endurance as well as the ability to know where he is at all times.
However, his greatest strength is his ability to absorb and re-release energy, even increasing its potency. Once, Cyclops hit Bishop with the full strength of his optic blasts and Bishop absorbed the attack without batting an eye, then re-released the blast even stronger.
42 Sebastian Shaw / Black King
Energy Absorption
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
X-Men #129
Chris Claremont and John Byrne
Energy Absorption
Sebastian's mutation allows him to absorb any form of energy that comes his way, though he excels at absorbing kinetic energy. This means physically fighting Shaw is completely impossible, as every hit will only make him stronger.
The X-Men often have to resort to either disabling and capturing him somehow or using psionic energy to defeat him, but he is capable of absorbing psionic energy as well. Overall, Sebastian Shaw is an alpha-level mutant and it's easy to see how he earned such a classification.
41 Gambit / Remy LeBeau
Energy Conversion
First Appearance
Creators
Powers
Uncanny X-Men #266
Chris Claremont and Mike Collins
Energy Conversion
The X-Men’s very own “Ragin' Cajun,” Gambit is one of the mutant team’s most long-running and dependably powerful members. After growing up in a life of criminal thievery, Remy LeBeau was called to use his devilish powers for something good after a chance encounter with Storm. Remy can take an object’s latent potential energy and convert that potential power into kinetic energy.
While he most often uses playing cards, his kinetic powers can be imbued into anything. Gambit possesses a second mutation that grants him some psionic abilities. Gambit’s charming voice can compel others to believe anything he says, even if they’re aware of his power.

You guys put characters like Rogue, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Namor above Jamie Braddock? ROFL.
Monarch is Beyond-Omega level.
He is easily one of the top 3 Reality Warpers amongst Mutantkind. He is far above Proteus, who is way up on your list. The only reason he doesn't unravel 616 is because he doesn't care enough to be bothered. And he likes his family.
Monarch is easily in the top 3 of this list. The only Mutants on this list that are more powerful than him would be a White Phoenix Jean Grey, Matthew Malloy (debatable but probably not) and a fully amped at-her-peak Scarlet Witch.
Also, you left out Wiccan, Mad Jim Jaspers, The Marquis of Death and Miranda.
