Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is near the top of the MVP candidate list, as he's having arguably the best year of his career through 12 weeks.

In the first half of the Rams' Sunday night battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at SoFi Stadium, Stafford threw three touchdowns, finding Davante Adams twice and Colby Parkinson once, to put Los Angeles up 28-7.

With Stafford's third touchdown of the half, he made it 27 passing touchdowns since his last interception (Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles). According to Elias, that's the most passing touchdowns in a row without an interception since play-by-play was first tracked in 1978.

Everything seems to be working for Stafford this year, as he's doing everything he can to lead the Rams to the top seed in the conference.
