Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters during his postgame press conference, sharing an immediate injury update on offensive guard Trey Smith after he left Sunday's overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts early.

"As far as the injuries go. Trey Smith hurt his ankle," said Reid, "(Mike)Caliendo came in and did a nice job for him, but we'll see how it is as days go forward."

The starting right guard was listed on the Chiefs' injury reports this week due to a back injury, but was officially ruled out early in the afternoon due to an issue with his ankle. Reid would go on to list several other injuries that occurred during Sunday's victory.

"(Chris) Roland-Wallace hurt his lower back again," said Reid, "We'll just see how it goes this week, and then Noah (Gray) got hit in the head, so he'll go through evaluations there, so we'll see how that goes."

The Chiefs could face concerns with the short week and the need to travel to play the Dallas Cowboys this Thursday. The next few days will be essential for healing and identifying the severity of these injuries before the marquee matchup.
