The New York Jets were beaten on the road by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12.

On Sunday, the Ravens (6-5) took a 23-10 win over the Jets (2-9).

While a loss, the new-look team from New York led by quarterback Tyrod Taylor after Justin Fields was benched was worth a watch this week. Because of that, there were plenty of notes to take from this one.

Here is Jets Wire's instantly analysis of the Jets' loss to the Ravens:

What went right?

Jumping right into Taylor: he finished 17-for-28 passing with 222 yards, a touchdown and interception. The QB extended plays with his legs too, rushing for 19 yards on five carries.

That helped the Jets lead 7-3 at halftime.

Focusing on that three points allowed, Taylor being under center appeared to put some life in New York's defense too. It wasn't enough in the end but they shut down the Ravens offense early on and played with some life.

In the end, the Jets' aggressive nature got the best of them. A swing early in the second half saw New York fail on a fourth-down attempt which led to the Ravens pushing on for a touchdown.

The Jets never recovered from that but being aggressive can be viewed as a positive as well. In a similar light, New York decided to give some of their newer and younger faces some more playing time.

Unfortunately, we must point out running back Breece Hall's fumble too. Any chance the Jets had to make this one close went out of the window when he lost the ball at the goal line with his team down 20-10.

What's the bottom line?

The Jets locked up a 10th season in a row with a losing record. That's a bummer--this culture being is a positive, though. Head coach Aaron Glenn gave his team a boost by starting Taylor and it seemed to be fore the better.
