NAPLES, Fla. — Jeeno Thitikul has once again won the Vare Trophy for lowing scoring average on the LPGA, but this time she did it in record fashion. The 22-year-old Thai star broke Annika Sorenstam's 2002 single-season scoring record of 68.697 after her second consecutive victory at the CME Group Tour Championship.

Thitikul, 22, wasn't even born when Sorenstam put together that 11-win season.

Thitikul's four-stroke CME victory included rounds of 67-63-64-68 to finish at 26 under for the tournament, good for a season-long scoring average of 68.681.

If Thitikul takes just two more strokes in 2025, Sorenstam's record stands.

Thitikul first won the award in 2023 and had the lowest scoring average in 2024 as well but didn't meet the minimum number of required rounds, so the trophy went to Ayaka Furue.

Thitikul becomes the third player to break 69 in LPGA history with Lydia Ko doing the same in 2022 (68.988).
