Week 12 Inactives: Cowboys bench 3rd-round pick for trade pickup

The Cowboys come into their Week 12 matchup- a renewal of their divisional rivalry with the Eagles and the first of a brutal three-game stretch to be played over the next 12 days- at perhaps the healthiest they've been all season.

The final practice report of the week gave gameday designations to just veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and backup offensive lineman Hakeem Adeniji. Both were listed as questionable to play Sunday, but Clowney went through warmups smoothly and should be good to go.

Defensive tackle Solomon Thomas practiced in full to close out the week after missing the Raiders game; he looks to be ready to return to the rotation versus Philly. Fellow DT Perrion Winfrey is closer to making his season debut but will be inactive once again.

Running back Jaydon Blue was left inactive in Las Vegas; Saturday's signing of Malik Davis from the practice squad suggested it may happen again this week. It did. Blue is inactive; the promising rookie has appeared in just four games this season.

Wide receiver Jonathan Mingo was a healthy scratch last week. But the veteran is active Sunday and should finally see his first snaps of 2025, giving Dak Prescott yet another option in the Dallas passing attack. But the move left Jalen Tolbert inactive. It'll be the first healthy scratch for the first time in the third-round draft pick's career.

For the Eagles, six-time Pro Bowl tackle Lane Johnson will be out with a foot injury. Offensive linemen Cam Jurgens, Myles Hinton, and Willie Lampkin were all 50/50 as of Friday, but all should play.

One other situation that seems to have been resolved: Wideout DeVonta Smith did not travel with the team for undisclosed personal reasons, but he did make separate arrangements for his Dallas arrival. He is active and should play as normal.
