Clemson stayed off the board once again in the newest US LBM Coaches Poll released after Week 13, as the Tigers did not receive a single vote. While Clemson continued to be absent from the rankings, the ACC still placed five teams in the poll. Miami led the conference at No. 13, followed by Virginia at No. 17 and Georgia Tech at No. 19. Rounding out the ACC group were Pitt at No. 24 and SMU at No. 25, giving the league representation throughout the back half of the top 25.

The Tigers' own weekend included a convincing 45–10 win over Furman, though it wasn’t enough to draw attention from voters. The Tigers improved to 6–5 with the victory, securing bowl eligibility for the 27th straight season. Cade Klubnik played less than two quarters but still threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns, both to Antonio Williams. His early exit was planned, allowing him to receive a standing ovation in what was his final appearance in Memorial Stadium.

Freshman quarterback Chris Denson added energy late in the game, rushing for 106 yards on just six carries and going 4-for-4 passing. He accounted for two touchdowns — a short scoring throw to Logan Brooking and a 10-yard rushing score in the final seconds. Denson’s 50-yard run down the sideline highlighted Clemson’s fourth-quarter surge.

The Tigers did face injury setbacks, including losses to Olsen Patt-Henry and Jahiem Lawson, along with the absence of Amare Adams. Clemson also saw Nolan Hauser’s streak of 11 straight made field goals end on a 36-yard miss.

Clemson remains outside the Coaches Poll heading into rivalry week, while several ACC teams continue to occupy ranked positions. The Tigers will try to build on their late-season momentum next weekend in Columbia.
