The Chicago Bears have made a difficult decision ahead of the Week 12 matchup vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers — designating starting left tackle Theo Benedet as inactive, who was deemed questionable to play with a quad injury.
In the wake of Benedet being inactive in Week 12, sixth-round rookie offensive lineman Ozzie Trapilo will get the starting nod against a fearsome Steelers pass rush — a storyline fans should keep a close eye on throughout the contest.
Along with Benedet, the Bears’ Week 12 inactives also include quarterback Case Keenum (emergency third quarterback), wide receiver Jahdae Walker, running back Travis Homer, linebacker Noah Sewell, linebacker T.J. Edwards, and defensive tackle Jonathan Ford.
