The 2-8 New York Jets travel to Baltimore to take on the 5-5 Ravens as 13.5-point underdogs this Sunday. The Ravens, despite being a game behind the Steelers in the AFC North, are heavy favorites to take their division. The Jets are in full tank mode, but they have moved from the ineffective Justin Fields to Tyrod Taylor at quarterback in hopes of giving their offense a bump, which it could, as Taylor is much more willing to make risky throws. But, it’s still going to be tough to find a receiver we feel good about starting.

Below, we’ll go over Mason Taylor’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jets, TE, Mason Taylor

Taylor has had three Top 12 tight end weeks over his last seven, so there is a little upside there. But we also have to take into account how poorly and timidly Fields has played this season. The matchup isn’t great, as the Ravens have been above average against tight ends. But, I also think Taylor is the best target for the other Taylor this week, which could mean some elevated targets now that a quarterback who wants to throw the ball is in there.

I like Taylor’s upside here, but his floor is still extremely low. He makes for a decent streaming option if you need him, but it is still tough to recommend starting him in a tougher matchup over 12 other tight ends.
