The 3-7 Cincinnati Bengals will host the AFC East leading 9-2 New England Patriots this Sunday as 6.5-point home underdogs. The Bengals offense under Joe Flacco hit a snag last week against the Steelers, as they only scored 12 points after Flacco had helped them to 33, 38, and 42 points in his previous starts.

This week the Bengals will be without superstar Ja’Marr Chase after he was suspended for spitting on another player. That should open up about 30 targets for other pass catchers, but can we feel good enough about starting one of the non-Tee Higgins receivers on the team?

Below, we’ll go over Andrei Iosivas’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals, WR, Andrei Iosivas

Joe Flacco has helped the passing offense tremendously since joining, but there is a chance that Joe Burrow returns this week. That’s good, but it’s not like Flacco was bringing down the offense’s numbers. Whether it’s Burrow or Flacco, I don’t believe there is a major difference when assessing their offensive playmakers this week.

Without Chase, we can expect Noah Fant and Iosivas to see some extra work. Will it be enough to give us a good enough fantasy finish? Well, there is a chance Christian Gonzalez and safety help spend extra time on Higgins with Chase out, which would open up the middle of the field for Iosivas. And the Patriots should be able to score at will on the Bengals awful defense, which means plenty of passing opportunities for Cincinnati.

Start. He’s right on the edge of startable, but with four teams on bye and a game with a good shot at being high scoring, I like his upside.

Start.
