The 1-9 Tennessee Titans host the 9-2 Seattle Seahawks as 13.5-point home underdogs this Sunday. There sn;t much hope for pulling out a win, but we’ve seen crazier things happen. If they do, I’d expect running back Tyjae Spears to be a big part of that due to his big play ability and work as a receiver. But, is he worth a start in fantasy this week?
Below, we’ll go over Tyjae Spears’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementFantasy Football analysis: Titans, RB, Tyjae SpearsLast week Spears couldn’t get anything on the ground against the incredibly good Texans defense, but neither could Tony Pollard. Spears did okay in the receiving game, catching all five of his targets for 31 yards. Just that chunk of production helped him to an RB31 finish in PPR leagues in Week 11. You of course want more than that, but it wasn’t a back breaker.
This week Spears should be in another situation where he is needed more than Pollard as the team falls behind. And this week he gets a decent matchup, as the Seahawks have allowed the fourth-most receptions and the fifth-most receiving yards to running backs per game. It would make complete sense to see the Titans get behind and target Spears enough to give him a startable PPR day.
