PFF: Chiefs among NFL franchises with most at stake in Week 12

According to the experts at Pro Football Focus, the Kansas City Chiefs are among the teams with the most at stake in Week 12 of the NFL's 2025 regular season.

Kansas City's disappointing 5-5 record would have the Chiefs on the outside looking in at the AFC's playoff race if the season ended today, and the outcome of the team's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this afternoon could make or break its chances of earning a spot in the postseason.

With a win over Indianapolis, Kansas City's playoff probability would jump to 68%, while a loss to the Colts would drop the Chiefs' odds of making the postseason to just 33%.

While Kansas City could still punch its ticket to the playoffs if it lays an egg against Indianapolis, the Chiefs would face an even more uphill battle to punch their ticket to the postseason with a Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on the horizon in Week 13.
