The Volunteers (8-3, 4-3 SEC) dominated from the start, scoring touchdowns on their first four drives and building a 31-0 halftime lead. Tennessee outgained the Gators 323-110 in the opening half and posted 19 first downs, delivering its most daunting 30 minutes against Florida in more than three decades.

Joey Aguilar was sharp for Tennessee. He completed 17-of-22 passes for 204 yards and tossed a touchdown to Ethan Davis.

Florida (3-8, 2-6 SEC) offered little resistance. Costly penalties, a stuffed fourth-down run by DJ Lagway and a missed field goal stalled early drives. The second half opened with a disastrous fair-catch signal by Jadan Baugh that pinned the Gators at their own 2.

Trey Smack’s 46-yard field goal in the third quarter extended Florida’s NCAA-record scoring streak to 472 games. But with fans filing out early with the program’s worst home showing in a decade.
