The G League's OKC Blue survived a nail-biter with a 112-110 win over the Texas Legends on Saturday. The road victory improved their record to 3-4 in the regular season.

It was a sequel that matched Friday's original in terms of excitement. Folks who attended this Blue and Legends back-to-back at the same arena got their money's worth.

This time, the Blue got off to an early advantage. They held a 23-20 lead after the first quarter. Both teams went back and forth in a high-scoring second frame. OKC put up 35 points to keep its distance from Texas on the scoreboard. Its halftime lead was 58-53.

That continued in the early stages of the second half. Finally, the Legends made a run. They scored 12 straight points. Suddenly, the Blue were behind. No worries. They had a strong finish to the third frame with 31 points. They exited with an 89-83 lead.

After Viktor Lakhin's dunk pushed OKC's lead to 98-88 with a little over eight minutes left, that created some much-needed breathing room. But the Legends mounted back with an 11-3 run. Jamarion Sharp's second-chance dunk made it a two-point contest with over five minutes left.

After Zhaire Smith's free-throw attempts cut OKC's lead to 112-110 with 1:39 left, the remainder of the game was scoreless from both sides. The Blue couldn't shut the door and the Legends couldn't take advantage of critical possessions. The Blue survived a scare with 23 points in the final frame.

The Blue shot 51% from the field and went 14-of-35 (40%) from 3. They shot 5-of-11 on free throws. They had 37 assists on 44 baskets. Four Blue players scored double-digit points.

Meanwhile, the Legends shot 43% from the field and went 11-of-38 (28.9%) from 3. They shot 12-of-17 on free throws. They had 24 assists on 40 baskets. Five Legends players scored double-digit points.
