Michigan State football went on the road to Iowa City on Saturday, looking to find a way to win a Big Ten game against Iowa. Unfortunately for the Spartans, their effort fell short, and Michigan State lost 20-17 to the Hawkeyes.
Alessio Milivojevic made his third career start in the game, and he battled once again. Finishing 25-for-42 with 255 yards and two touchdowns, Milivojevic was a shot in the arm to the offense in this game.

"It hurts. We fought as a team. We have another week. We are going to play."
Milivojevic also gave his praise to Smith and the staff for taking a chance on him, and what they have done for his career to this point.
"Jonathan Smith is a great coach, great leader. I am grateful for him taking a chance on me."
