Iowa hosted Michigan State on their senior day inside of Kinnick Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and it was a game to remember, with the Hawkeyes overcoming a 10-point second half deficit to defeat the Spartans, 20-17.
Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz spoke to the media following the game, where he had a lot of things to say about the game and Michigan State as a whole.

“At the end of the game, it was ‘how the hell did we do that?’”
On the Spartans, Ferentz commended the fight the team has shown this year.
“To me, where people miss the boat so often, it was clear Michigan State football’s players made a decision that they would keep playing, playing competitively. It’s part of the process.”
