Pavia completed 32 of 38 passes and threw four touchdowns while also rushing 15 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Pavia's record was recognized in FirstBank Stadium as Pavia took a curtain call and received an ovation before being replaced by Blaze Berlowitz with Vanderbilt leading, 45-10.

He rushed 15 times for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Diego Pavia's best: A pretty deep ball
Pavia's accuracy on deep balls has come and gone this season, but he was on point all game against the Wildcats. His best throw was a 71-yard touchdown pass to Tre Richardson. He had another, similar throw later in the game for a 56-yard touchdown to Richardson.

The TV broadcast of the game showed Pavia arguing with Lea on the sideline, as Lea tried to tell Pavia he was out of the game and Pavia begged to stay in. Pavia won the argument and padded his stats enough for the record − but the drive ended in an interception in a rare bad throw.
Grade: A+
No other grade can be given for a record-breaking performance. It should help him in the Heisman race, too.
