The Carolina Panthers will be down three starters for their first prime-time showcase in two seasons.
As expected, inside linebackers Trevin Wallace (shoulder) and Christian Rozeboom (hip/hamstring) have been ruled out of Monday's contest against the San Francisco 49ers. Neither participated in practice throughout the week.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementCenter Cade Mays will also be sidelined due to an ankle injury he sustained on Friday. Head coach Dave Canales told reporters on Saturday that eighth-year veteran Austin Corbett will start in place of Mays.
Meanwhile, quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (ankle) remained full participants and will not enter Monday with injury designations.
