The 2025 college football season is heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, with these next two Saturdays poised to have a major impact on the College Football Playoff. There are some very good college football games today and we’re predicting the results for the top Week 13 matchups.

Let’s dive into our College Football picks today, predicting the best matchups for College Football Week 13.

Oklahoma Sooners – 27, Missouri Tigers – 17

Week 13 College Football Predictions, Jerome Miron-Imagn Images

The Missouri Tigers are expecting quarterback Beau Pribula to play today, which certainly makes this matchup even more intriguing. However, it’s fair to question how effective he’ll be moving around just a few weeks removed from a dislocated ankle. That’s a big problem against an Oklahoma Sooners defense that ranks second nationally in sacks per game (3.70) and leads the country in tackles for loss (102). That’s an issue with Mizzou ranked 53rd in TFLs allowed per game (4.9).

We’re also skeptical of just how much success running back Ahmad Hardy will have versus a unit that is allowing just a 2.5 yards-per-carry average. Hardy has put up 408 rushing yards (versus Texas A&M and Mississippi State) in the last two weeks, but he averaged just 69 rush ypg versus Alabama, Auburn, and Vanderbilt. With John Mateer playing a lot better football as of late, we see the Sooners winning by double digits at home.

Oregon Ducks – 31, USC Trojans 24

Of the best college football games today, there’s no question this is the one we’re most excited for. The USC Trojans have been flying under the radar this season, but a victory on Saturday over the Oregon Ducks would give USC a legitimate chance at the College Football Playoff. The stakes are also high for Oregon, a program that could really use another quality win now that Iowa (6-4) and Penn State (4-6) aren’t top-30 teams.

There are some numbers to know heading into the matchup. Entering college football games today, the Trojans defense has allowed 599 rushing yards (200 per game) and a 6.8 yards-per-carry average to running backs in its last three road games. Oregon’s defense also boasts the fourth-highest stop rate (75.8 percent) among Power 4 teams and USC’s offense ranks fourth in Success rate and second in yards per play.

We do think the Trojans defense, which is 15th in sack rate, can generate some pressure on Dante Moore. It also helps USC that Oregon is still short-handed at wide receiver. However, it will be the Ducks’ ability to run the football and generate consistent stops that, paired with a few big YAC plays from tight end Kenyon Sadiq, propel the Ducks to a one-score win at home.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 35, Pittsburgh Panthers 31

Week 13 College Football Predictions, Bob DeChiara-Imagn Images

Scoring shouldn’t be an issue for either the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets or Pittsburgh Panthers. Haynes King leads a Georgia Tech offense that ranks ninth in third-down conversion rate (51.3 percent) with the 10th-most first downs (249) and the highest yards-per-play average (7.47) in the nation.

Whether or not Pittsburgh pulls off the upset comes down to freshman quarterback Mason Heintschel, wh completed just 48.5 percent of his passes with four sacks taken and an abysmal 3.8 yards per attempt last week at home versus Notre Dame. It will help out Heintschel that Georgia Tech isn’t particularly adept at generating consistent pressure. Ultimately, we think King does enough through the air to beat Pitt. If that Panthers can keep Heintschel’s jersey clean and stop Georgia Tech’s three-man rushing attack, Pitt wins. We just think a turnover by the freshman quarterback will prove costly.

Tennessee Volunteers 34, Florida Gators 31

Week 13 College Football Predictions, Brianna Paciorka/USA TODAY Network via Imagn Images

We’re feeling a bit skeptical of the Tennessee Volunteers going into The Swamp and getting a win, especially since the last time it happened came back in 2003. Joey Aguilar has been a bit turnover-prone (5 intercceptions in last four games) as of late and he’s been a worse quarterback on the road (5-3 TD-INT) than at home (14-7 TD-INT, 164.1 QB rating).

As Oklahoma (195 rushing yards from Xavier Robinson and John Mateer) just demonstrated, Florida can have some success on the ground with Jadan Baugh. If that happens early, DJ Lagway can attack the Volunteers secondary (137.39 passer rating allowed, 89th in FBS). Both defenses will generate takeaways, but we think DeSean Bishop does enough on the ground versus Florida (143.2 rush ypg allowed) for Tennessee to finally win it in The Swamp.

BYU Cougars 24, Cincinnati Bears 21

Week 13 College Football Predictions, Rob Gray-Imagn Images

It’s going to be a fight between the BYU Cougars and Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday night. BYU knows the importance of this matchup, with a victory essential to make it into the Big 12 Championship Game and a shot at revenge versus Texas Tech. The Bearcats, who come into this one on a two-game losing streak, blew that opportunity but there is something to be said for playing for pride. Unfortunately for Cincinnati, it just doesn’t match up well versus BYU.

After posting a 20-0 TD-INT ratio in the first two months of the season, Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby now has completed just 42.6 percent of his pass attempts with a 2-3 TD-INT line in November. That’s before facing a Cougars defense that has the seventh-most interceptions (14) with the 13th-lowest passer rating (109.36 allowed). Sorsby will not be nearly good enough against BYU’s defense to keep up with what the Cougars do to the Bearcats defense.
