Barcelona president Joan Laporta warns of La Liga instability

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has delivered striking response to the latest controversy surrounding Javier Tebas after Spain’s Sports Arbitration Court opened formal investigation into the La Liga president on Friday.

The inquiry follows complaint filed by the Spanish Sports Council CSD on 20 October triggering new episode in long running and often tense political battle within Spanish football.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Laporta said he does not view the development as positive especially at time when Barcelona’s relationship with La Liga had started to stabilise after years of disputes over finances, regulations & the Negreira case.
