In a devastating turn of events, Strictly Come Dancing star La Voix has had to withdraw from the competition.
It was confirmed earlier this week that the Drag Race icon would not be performing in Blackpool due to an injury.
As per the BBC show’s rules, she received a bye to the next week.
In a statement released at the time said, La Voix, 45, said: ‘My heart truly breaks knowing I won’t be dancing in such an iconic venue.’
However, as hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman opened Saturday’s show, live from the Tower Ballroom, viewers were given a sad update.
‘You may have heard, La Voix sustained an injury, meaning that she can’t dance in Blackpool tonight,’ Tess began.

‘And following further advice from our medical team, we can now confirm she has very sadly had to withdraw from the competition.’
Cameras then cut to La Voix in the audience, looking deeply upset as the audience applauded her.
Claudia further informed fans that the performer and her pro, Aljaž Škorjanec, will be interviewed during tomorrow night’s results show.
The results, though, will look a little different from normal.
Much to the surviving contestants’ joy, it has been decided that no one will be eliminated this weekend.
‘This year, Blackpool is going to be even more special,’ Tess informed them. ‘Listen up, everyone, because we have an announcement.

‘We can confirm no one will be leaving Strictly this weekend.’
As the cast celebrated and hugged one another, safe in the knowledge that there would be no dance-off tomorrow, the ballroom erupted into cheers.
It comes after several other stars had to withdraw from Strictly this year, the first being Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn, who pulled out before the launch show had even been filmed.

Dani Dyer later suffered a foot injury, forcing her out and Amber Davies in, along with Kristian’s replacement, Lewis Cope.
The drama didn’t end there, as Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis, who was paired with pregnant pro Dianne Buswell, also had to bow out of the contest due to a torn calf.
This makes La Voix the fourth celebrity to withdraw from Strictly 2025 alone.
