Abdulrakhman Rakhman Yakhyaev's debut couldn't have gone much better.
On the prelims of UFC Fight Night 265 at ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar, Yakhyaev (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) turned in a stellar performance against Rafael Cerqueira. It was fast one-way traffic as Yakhyaev submitted Cerqueira (11-4 MMA, 0-4 UFC) in just 33 seconds.

Right out of the gate, Yakhyaev unloaded with heavy strikes, starting with a spinning kick. After a couple of punches, a head kick connected, leading to a takedown. He quickly slapped on a rear-naked choke and got the tap.

Yakhyaev won his Dana White's Contender Series fight in 30 seconds. His UFC debut went three ticks longer. During his post-fight interview, the 24-year-old said to expect him to do the same in his next fight.
Cerqueira's UFC run has not been kind, as he falls to 0-4 in the promotion, with three stoppage losses.
