Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman George Karlaftis spoke with reporters on Friday during his press conference, praising the progress of rookie pass rusher Ashton Gillotte.
“Ashton’s (Gillotte) getting better every single week. He’s been thrown in the fire (and) has gone through the gauntlet like a lot of other younger guys have. Kind of reminds me of myself when I was around his (age) – three years ago now. He’s getting thrown in the fire, and he’s getting better every single week. He’s asking a lot of questions, he wants to get better (and) he wants to be great. He’s doing a great job. He’s going to continue to get better, and I’m proud of him and his effort.”
