Is Indiana playing today? Football schedule for Hoosiers' next game after Week 13 bye

Over the past two months, Indiana football has proven that its unexpected run to the College Football Playoff in 2024 wasn't a fluke. If anything, it may have just been the first glimpse of what's to come for the program under coach Curt Cignetti.

The Hoosiers have been a freight train for much of the 2025 season, with an 11-0 record, a No. 2 spot in the US LBM Coaches Poll and the playoff selection committee rankings, seven wins by at least 24 points and one of the Heisman Trophy front-runners in quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

After amassing that impressive resume, Indiana will get a break this week.

The Hoosiers will be on a bye during Week 13 of the 2025 season, giving them a final chance to rest up before their regular-season finale against archrival Purdue and an increasingly likely berth in the Big Ten championship game.

Here's what to know about Indiana's bye week and remaining schedule this season.

Is Indiana playing today?

Indiana will be enjoying a bye during Week 13. The break comes after the Hoosiers played a game in 11 of the first 12 weeks of the season.

The idle week is the second of two Indiana has this season, with the first coming in early October, during Week 6 of the season.

After the bye, Cignetti's team has one regular-season game remaining — a road matchup against Purdue on Friday, Nov. 28, with the Old Oaken Bucket at stake. The Boilermakers are 2-9 this season and will also be coming off a bye.
