The injuries just keep piling up for the Buffalo Bills. Midway through the third quarter, it was rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston who couldn’t get up off the turf as teammates waved for training staff to come to his aid.

Hairston missed all of preseason and the first six games of the regular season as he recovered from a PCL injury he picked up in July. Eventually, the cornerback walked off the field accompanied by trainers and headed to the blue medical tent.  After time in the medical tent, he was sent to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.

Through two and a half quarters, the Bills trainers have attended to quarterback Josh Allen, cornerback Christian Benford, linebacker Terrel Bernard, and offensive linemen Connor McGovern and Spencer Brown. Additionally, Dion Dawkins and Khalil Shakir were checked, and cleared, for concussions.
