With franchises like Re:Zero and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, isekai anime focused on transporting their protagonists to fantastical worlds have reinvented themselves in countless ways. However, a common characteristic in most isekai anime is that almost all of them feature protagonists with immense powers.

There are anime characters who stand out from the moment they set foot in their new world. While they may not always be the strongest in their universe, some isekai characters possess an ability that makes them the greatest threat to their villains or renders them virtually impossible to kill or defeat.

However, while Reinhard can die, what truly makes him invincible is his ability to revive thanks to the Phoenix's Divine Protection. According to the author of Re:Zero, even if Reinhard were to lose the Phoenix's protection, he would likely gain another similar protection from Od Lagna, making him virtually immortal.
