Phoenix Suns head coach Jordan Ott said Friday that rookie forward Rasheer Fleming isn't expected to miss extended time after suffering an injury on Tuesday.
Fleming sustained a sprained left ankle late in the second half of their 127-110 win on the road over the Portland Trail Blazers. He logged a season-high 10 minutes, recording four points and six rebounds as the Suns improved to 9-6.

Fleming is averaging two points and 1.5 points in 5.8 minutes per game on 26.3% shooting from the field across eight appearances with the Suns. He has played sporadically to begin the season for Ott, often seeing fourth-quarter minutes in mop-up duty.
With limited playing time available, Fleming, along with fellow rookie Khaman Maluach, was assigned to the Valley Suns of the G League on Nov. 14. He produced 23 points, 11 rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes in a loss to the Rip City Remix.
