Chelsea were well beaten tonight by Leeds, and while there were disaster performances from most of the team, one player was the focus of the fans’ ire.

Tosin Adarabioyo was rotated into the team tonight, and given his recent shaky showings fans were worried from the moment the team sheet came in. How right they were. He had a dreadful performance, and the media from all over the world were on hand to assess him.

The Chelsea Chronicle gave Tosin a 2/10, and the following review:

“Tosin is not going to be popular in west London after that display. Forget about the rest of the performance — which was far from convincing. The error leading to Leeds’ third was exactly what many fans would have been worried about when his name was on the team sheet over someone like Wesley Fofana.”

The Evening Standard gave him a 3, and this summary:

“Was not always as touch-tight to Leeds’ attackers as he could have been, and then made a horrific mistake to gift them their third goal.

The Express went with:

“Looked very shaky early on and struggled to cope with the physicality Leeds were displaying. Terrible for Leeds’ third. Lethargic in possession and punished.”

The Sun joined in the fun with another 3/10:

“Adarabioyo was a stationary, non-responsive figure when Leeds scored from a corner on six minutes. Adarabioyo failed to react and barely moved when Bijol got on the end of the Anton Stach corner.”

SI said that:

“Obvious why he had played in just one of Chelsea’s last four games. A nightmare performance that will likely earn him a lengthy spell watching from the bench.”

We could go on, but you get the idea…
