Michigan State has officially kept a legacy recruit home, with Adam Shaw inking his national letter of intent with the Spartans.
The native of Hillsdale, N.J. flipped his commitment from Rutgers to Michigan State back in June. Shaw is a three-star linebacker prospect, with a recruiting rating of 88 in 247Sports' rating system. He ranks as the No. 56 linebacker and No. 19 player from New Jersey in the 2026 class.Shaw is a Spartans legacy, with his dad, Scott Shaw, playing for Michigan State in the 1990s. Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to offer Shaw. He was most notably being recruited by Rutgers, Pitt and Michigan State.
