The problems with the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense are well-publicized at this point. Bringing in quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver DK Metcalf were praised, but so far, there's been no return on investment. This has forced there to be some public questioning and a bit of finger-pointing.

When Rodgers talked to the media on Wednesday, he did a bit of that when he noted that the lack of deep balls this season is due to guys not getting open. The Steelers passing offense is 24th in the NFL in yards this season. The Steelers offense has turned into running the football and dumping the ball off to running back Kenneth Gainwell.

The Steelers went all-in on Metcalf as the team's No. 1 receiver but it has been remarkable how a guy as big and strong as he is has struggled to win in coverage. Without a true No. 2 receiver on the roster, Rodgers has probably the worst group of receivers he has ever had during his career.
