New images released from tonight’s EastEnders and tomorrow’s follow-up episode tease a dramatic collapse for the Fox, Danes and Trueman families, as Anthony’s increasingly unsettling behaviour finally collides with Howie’s mountain of secrets. What begins as a supposedly joyful celebration quickly spirals into one of the most explosive showdowns the Square has seen in a while, leaving the entire family stunned and viewers reeling when the truth finally comes out.

Tonight’s episode picked up with Kim Fox in full bridal mode, flitting around with the unstoppable energy of someone who wants their engagement party sorted yesterday. With a clipboard in hand, shes determined to make the celebration the happiest moment of her life. 

At the other end of the emotional spectrum, there’s a tense encounter between Zoe and Anthony. After seeking refuge with him last night, Zoe thanks Anthony for taking her in, explaining that she simply couldn’t face another night in the Vic after everything she’s been put through. 

Howie, meanwhile, is already on edge, and with his simmering feud with Anthony intensifying, he is desperately trying to hold it together for Kim’s sake. The pair exchanged furious, whispered threats, each clinging to a secret powerful enough to destroy the other. In tomorrow’s spoiler images, the fallout from their confrontations looks even more heated.

Anthony, whose calm persona has been steadily cracking, finds himself backed into a corner as Howie threatens to expose the restraining order placed on him by his ex-wife, a court order that prevents him from seeing his own children. Anthony hits back by dangling Howie’s own secret: that he has been stealing parcels at work, including the engagement ring he used to propose to Kim.

When Howie finally confesses to Kim about Anthony’s restraining order, her world jolts for a moment. She decides to pay Anthony a visit and confront him face to face as he pleads with her not to tell Patrick, begging to be allowed to break the news to his father himself. Whether Kim agrees out of sympathy or simply to avoid further chaos is unclear, but she keeps her silence.

Elsewhere, Zoe opts to skip the engagement party entirely, deciding she needs distance from the Slater tensions and choosing to hide out at Lauren’s. But her absence puts Oscar directly in Anthony’s path, and the truth about Howie’s behaviour quickly begins to surface. Oscar admits that Howie blackmailed both him and Lauren after Patrick’s attack, demanding money to keep quiet about Oscar’s involvement. The revelation sends Anthony spiralling.

Despite the chaos bubbling beneath the surface, the engagement party is a brief burst of colour and joy. A glowing Kim is surrounded by her loved ones, vibrant decorations draped around the Trueman household, and Patrick proudly celebrating Howie joining the family.

Anthony arrives at the party and decides to keep the peace. He doesn’t want to destroy Kim’s happiness, nor does he want to shatter Patrick’s joy. For a moment, it seems he might actually stay silent. But everything changes when Patrick makes an emotional speech declaring Howie ‘like a son’ to him. The words land like a hammer blow, and from that moment, Anthony’s restraint unravels completely.

Anthony finally exposes the truth. He announces that Howie knew Oscar was responsible for Patrick’s attack and chose to keep quiet. He reveals the blackmail, that Howie took money from both Oscar and Lauren while pretending to protect the family.

And then he delivers the final, crushing blow: the engagement ring Howie used to propose to Kim was stolen.

The party collapses into chaos. Kim is devastated, staring at Howie as the life she is building with him crumbles in seconds. Patrick is heartbroken. The entire family freezes in shock, struggling to take in the storm that has just hit them.
