CBS has announced that the Fire Country spin-off led by Morena Baccarin has been renewed and will return with Season 2. This comes after the show had been on the air for just over a month — only six episodes have been released in the first season thus far. Following the ninth episode, which will air on December 10, Sheriff Country will take a two-month break and return to air on February 27. The second season of the Fire Country offshoot is expected to begin production early next year and be released late in 2026.
