GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers are adding players back in the mix.

Of the players on injured-reserve lists, MarShawn Lloyd, Brenton Cox Jr and Collin Oliver returned to practice Dec. 1 to open their three-week practice window. Jayden Reed’s practice window opened Nov. 21.

After missing so much time during the season, Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the goal is just to integrate them into practice and see how they feel.

“We’re going to be pretty open minded with it and it’s going to be a very fluid situation,” LaFleur said during his pre-practice news conference Dec. 3. “I think the more time somebody has missed, the harder it is to get back. It is a boost to get those guys back out there and I know it definitely lifts their spirits as well.”

Of the players on the active roster, three players were absent during practice.

Here’s the latest from the Dec. 3 practice:

Quay Walker injury update

Packers linebacker Quay Walker participated in practice.

Karl Brooks injury update

Packers defensive tackle Karl Brooks is back at practice after missing the Lions game due to an ankle injury.

Jayden Reed injury update

Packers receiver Jayden Reed was ruled out of the Lions game but could be nearing a return to game action. Reed hasn’t missed practice since his 21-day practice window opened Nov. 21.

“He does a really good job after the catch, but I think it’s all the little things that he does when he’s not playing with the football in regards to just the dog mentality that he brings to our offense,” LaFleur said. “He’s always doing a lot of the dirty work, digging out safeties, just competing to the highest level.”

Devonte Wyatt injury update

Packers defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt is not on injured reserve, but LaFleur confirmed this week that Wyatt would be out for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury he suffered at the end of the game against the Lions on Thanksgiving.
