UK-based Love Finance has partnered with small and medium enterprise (SME) lender iwoca to integrate the latter’s API to improve access to business finance for small enterprises.
The collaboration is aimed at enabling faster assessment and decision-making for loan applications.
Love Finance said that this step aligns with its goal of simplifying business finance processes while maintaining flexibility for small-business clients.
With the technological addition, SMEs using the platform will have access to a more “transparent” application experience.
Love Finance chief commercial officer Alex O’Malley said: “This partnership reinforces our position as a forward-thinking, agile lender delivering fast and efficient solutions to UK SMEs.
“Thanks to iwoca’s technology and partnership, we’re able to push our lending speed and transparency even further, making the business finance journey smoother, fairer, and more accessible than ever before.”
iwoca’s system evaluates business eligibility instantly, providing applicants with prompt and straightforward loan decisions.
iwoca UK chief commercial officer Colin Goldstein said: “Every business owner faces moments that matter - and needs quick, reliable support. By partnering with Love Finance, we’re making it easier for SMEs to access fast, flexible funding exactly when they need it, empowering them to focus on growing their businesses with confidence.”
Last month, Love Finance appointed Selen Cagirgan as head of credit and risk.
Cagirgan has more than 15 years of experience and is responsible for overseeing credit operations, underwriting, and risk management within the company’s lending division.
Her position involves developing strategies for credit, enhancing risk controls, and creating frameworks intended to support further business expansion.
"Love Finance selects iwoca’s technology for SME financing" was originally created and published by Leasing Life, a GlobalData owned brand.
