That’s the sound of slay bells ringing. As the weather gets colder, there’s no better time to snuggle up and get cozy in a warm theater for a bloody fun time with writer-director Mike P. Nelson’s reimagining of Silent Night, Deadly Night. Collider is thrilled to announce that we’ll be teaming up with BloodyDisgusting, Screambox, and Sixth Dimension to host an early screening for lucky fans to beat the holiday crowds. Read on for the full details on how you can enter for your chance to win free tickets.
Nelson’s unrated revisit of this controversial ‘80s classic gives the holiday horror a whole new twisted spin. In his own words to Perri Nemiroff at New York Comic Con, Nelson says Silent Night, Deadly Night is like if “Frailty met The Santa Clause.” In the movie, Halloween Ends’ Rohan Campbell is Billy, a disturbed young man who witnessed the brutal murder of his parents on Christmas Eve. Now, every year on Christmas, Billy goes on a killing spree — until he meets Pamela Sims, played by Happy Death Day’s Ruby Modine, who challenges everything he believes and forces him to confront his demons. But can love truly thaw Billy’s frozen heart?
